Khrua Chaya cooks local dishes the way they are cooked at home. The dining hall is open on every side: wooden tables and stools under a high roof, fans on the posts, palms and garden all round.
ครัวชยาทำกับข้าวพื้นบ้านแบบที่ทำกินกันในบ้าน ที่นั่งเป็นศาลาโล่งรับลมทุกด้าน โต๊ะไม้กับเก้าอี้ไม้ใต้หลังคาสูง มีพัดลมติดเสา รอบตัวมีแต่ต้นปาล์มและสวนเขียว
There is also a boardwalk under a tunnel of vines, leading to a small sala over the water.

Nam prik comes in the middle of a tray of fresh vegetables, leaves and blue butterfly-pea flowers. The menu cards name three: fresh shrimp, dried anchovy and cashew nut.
