In Thai the house is called Baan Kaprao: the home of kaprao, the holy basil of the pad kaprao stir-fry. It is an open-air kitchen under a tin roof, with fans, plants and long tables, on Soi 16 in Chengtalay.บ้านกะเพรา ร้านอาหารไทยแบบเปิดโล่งใต้หลังคา มีพัดลม ต้นไม้ และโต๊ะยาว อยู่ในซอย 16 เชิงทะเล ย่านหาดบางเทา

Plates come out the way you see them here: on banana leaf in woven baskets, with cucumber and lime on the side.
